Wedding Photography FAQ’s
No question is silly.
How long have you been photographing weddings?
Over 15 years! Wow, that has flown by. Hopefully another 20 years to come too.
Is it a problem if you haven't worked at our venue before?
Definitely not! I love photographing at new venues. I will always visit your venue before your wedding or early in the morning if it’s far away.
Remember, every photographer has a first time at a venue, being given that opportunity is exciting for us. It also, means your photos will be even more unique.
Are you happy to travel?
YES! I love a road trip! Whilst I photograph a lot of weddings in and around Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, I would love to photograph your wedding wherever that may be.
f your venue is over 2 hours away, a small fee to cover a basic hotel for one night will be charged. Please contact me if you are getting married somewhere that would require flights and I can get a tailormade quote to you
Why have a pre wedding session?
I believe they are hugely beneficial for us all. It helps us to get to know each other. Which in turn, will help you to feel more relaxed around the camera. I will show you some basic posing ideas these things all help you to relax and speed things up on the wedding day. Meaning you can get back to the PARTY….which can only be a good thing!
What is a Second Photographer?
A second photographer is exactly that. I can book a highly skilled photographer to come and join me. They can cover groom prep if you wish or can shoot lots of candids of guests throughout the day. Images I may not be able to capture whilst doing group formals or your couple shoot. I second shoot many times over the course of the season because I love to see how others work and it can be a lot of fun.
Are you Insured?
Yes, Fully insured so nothing to worry about there.
How many photographs will we receive?
Full day galleries can be anything between 450-600 (sometimes more).
Are you LGBTQ+ Friendly?
Absolutley!!Love is Love!
Do you photograph group shots?
I certainly do. Between us, we create a list of group shots that are important to you. I always advise between 5-8 groups as they can be very time consuming and my priority is getting you back to the champagne and your guests as soon as possible. It’s a great idea to have a couple of family members to help with group photos. They can rally around getting people ready for the next photo which speeds things along no end. Meaning you can get back to YOUR party!
Can you photoshop out our errr... wrinkles?
This question gets asked all the time. There is nothing to be embarassed about. I'm not a fan of making people look plastic BUT I can certainly work a little magic if you'd like me to.
Do we have to feed you?
Absolutely not! This is not essential and not something that is written in to my contract. If you would like to feed me then I will gladly take you up on your kind offer. But I am more than happy to bring myself a little picnic.
Will we receive any black and white photographs?
You will receive a gallery with a mixture of colour and black and white images. I will always edit the images to look their very best. Some images look stunning in Black and white.
When will we receive our photographs?
Galleries take approximately 4-6 weeks to be completed. A couple of sneak peeks will be available within a week of your wedding day.
Will our photographs be copyrighted?
Yes. All photographs are copyrighted but you will receive a license to print and share with all of your family and friends.
Do we get to meet you before our Wedding day?
Yes, I would definitely recommend this. We can meet for a cuppa but we also have the engagement shoot too. We definitely wont be strangers on your big day.

So many! Let me know what you are looking for and I'll send you details of those I would highly recommend.
How does your booking process work?
Drop me a message on my website and I'll send you an online booking form and contract. A date reservation fee of £350 is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance will be due one month before your wedding day. My online payment system accepts all major credit cards too.I like to keep things as easy as possible.
