2021 What A Year To Get Married- The Couples Edition

Well 2021 had it all. Big weddings, small weddings. We had it all and everything in between. We may have only had around 6 months of something that resembled normality. But boy, did we all need something to celebrate! Weddings in castles, in barns, in beautiful stately homes and receptions in cinemas and gardens. Brides and Grooms arrived in style, from boats to strolling through village fields. But most importantly, couples did it their way with very little restrictions. There was something so special about being part of weddings this year.

My year began twiddling my thumbs and like everyone else, waiting for a little light at the end of the covid tunnel. As soon as it was allowed I teamed up with some super talented wedding suppliers to create some styled shoots. which helped reassure me that I hadn't forgotten how to click the right buttons in the right order.

Then the weddings started and oh my, it reminded me exactly why I love my job! From many road trips to my favourite part of the country, the Cotswolds, to weddings closer to home in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. It’s been an absolute cracker.

Here is a selection of some of my favourite photos of brides and grooms. Guests partied hard and are going to get their own little blog very soon.

Congratulaions to all my couples, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your wedding days. Its been a year of weddings that I will never forget.
